jelly (Q) do you prefer living in the north or south ?
JET: Hi! Sorry for delay in start - thanks for being here! I'm not sure on this one Jelly. I'm originally from the north yet loved living over 20 yrs in the south- mmm jury is still out!

Chimera (Q) what music are you into these days?
JET: Oh, I still have a really eclectic taste. Pop, indie, classical to world!!!! Music is such a state (mood) changer... what ever suits!

Az (Q) If you could go back to 1992 Diane as the Gladiator Jet would you do it?
JET: Az, 'Jet' I can see now was an amazing opportunity. I'm not sure about now. I have so many other things I love in my life that would mean 'Jet' wouldn't be what she was... although what I now have (including a sharper body and improved fitness...) may just add!!!!

yahoo (Q) how well did u get on with deadly nightshade?
JET: Deadly was an amazing lady... true all round Olympian athlete and good woman. Honest, up front and God she could eat what she wanted and stand very tall in heels! 6' 3-4 if I remember rightly!!

umbongo (Q) There always seemed to be a genuine friendship between you and Lightning onscreen, was it the same offscreen, and if so, do you keep in contact with her now?
JET: I liked Kim very much as I admired her ability and gaul. She kept herself to herself as did most of us as it was a very demanding time. She was very focused on her own life and those important to her.

Chimera (Q) welcome and hi!! It's Alex by the way... ;)
JET: Hi Alex! Wow, was good to hear about you and how your life is going. You must be very happy!

Blobinator (Q) Jet, how well did you get on with Lightning? Oh and also, will you marry me?
JET: Oh, I liked Lightning very much - a superb Glad... I'm sorry about the marriage bit, I've gone a blush pink... and have a full agenda in that department!

Lofty (Q) Hi Diane, I'm Lofty, my main question: what was the worst injury you had ever seen in your career?
JET: Lofty... you like carcrash entertainment?!!! Thankfully I have never been present when many of the bad stuff happened. My own accident was pretty horrid to be present at! Eek!

jonathanen (Q) Do your parents support and encouraged you before you joined gymnastics and doing other TV programs?
JET: Before all that I went on to do I have to admit to amusing myself with my imagination and raw ability. When I realised there was sport called gymnastics and all it entailed my folks made it so I could go to a local club. I was (am) so lucky, really blessed!

Billy (Q) Why did the name Jet suit you?
JET: I was quick! Unlike my IT skills!

dead_metal (Q) During Glads you managed too get an impressive record of 61 Wins and only 17 Losses, Do you have a favourite win and what was your worst loss?
JET: Fave win? All of them!!! Loses? Again all of them memorable and just. None stand out.

aquaplex (Q) What on earth went through your mind when you was told you were going to be on Tilt against a powerlifter? And how on earth did you manage to stay up there?
JET: Sheer grit and the ability to use technique rather than brute strength!

Bretto (Q) Did you ever do Suspension Bridge?
JET: I think I did it once on camera, a couple of times in rehearsals. It was like working the Duel on a Jelly!

appletree (Q) hi di do u remember opening afete at kings in worcester?
JET: Yes I do, of course. That was so much fun. How lucky was I to be there?

Temporo (Q) Jet, Which one of the Gladiators is a Christian?
JET: Erm, it was Nightshade.

lazzer (Q) Is it true Jet you are going to be working on Trisha ?
JET: Yes it most certainly is, we have already filmed the first one, so it should be aired in about 4 - 6 weeks, keep your eye on my website www.dianeyoudale.co.uk for more details.

jay (Q) Hello Jet, did you get to keep any of your gladiator costumes and do you still have them?
JET: Yes I kept them and yes I have 2. I gave one away for auction.

i_love_jet (Q) ok jet, since your injury did you ever try to get up on the rings or climb the wall?
JET: No. I didn't have the chance.

Spellbound (Q) Firstly, hi, how ya doing? What question have you not been asked that you wish someone would ask you?
JET: I'm doing very well thanks, good question, what makes me happy?

Vota (Q) How do you keep fit?
JET: I run, box (pad work), pilates, mountain climb and surf. and some free weight training.

VoguejeT (Q) Hey Diane. my name's Lee. Thanks for doing this for us. I'm a long time fan...I even sent you a pair of dolphin earrings when I read they were your fave animal! Ha-ha! my question is...With the Glads costumes going for 3100's on eBay, did you keep any of yours, or any other momentos from your time in the show?
JET: Yes, I have so many things still and have alredy donated so much for auction, watch this space.

2709girl (Q) How did you get your love for motorbikes?
JET: Since being a little girl, one of my aunts rode a big bike.

Chimera (Q) what are your memories of Flame, Hawk and Phoenix? Did you get on, etc?
JET: Yes they were ok, they spent such little time with us though, it was pretty hectic during the first year or two as the show was establishing itself.

Phantom (Q) Tell us one backstage secret from your time as a Gladiator... lol
JET: Wouldn't be a secret then would it!

Spellbound (Q) I broke me back 6 years ago and still suffer with nerve and muscle damage even now.... what did you do after your back/neck injury to help it along.... I tried yoga but fell on my head! Im clumsy! hehe
JET: Pilates is a stronger model to work with for me than yoga as it is slighlty more anatomically correct than yoga, a great physio, chiro, good nutrition and keeping the belief.

jelly (Q) what advice would you give someone who has just started at the gym?
JET: Enjoy the journey, seek professional advice and coaching, enjoy the environment, people you may meet and watch the reaults.

Phantom (Q) Hello. Scorpio mentioned in her Sun "exposé" that you were also injured in a game of Pole-Axe at a live event when your knee bounced back and hit you in the face when you fell. Can you confirm if that was true? If not, what were your views of such a fantastic event?
JET: Yes this was true, I broke my nose! Kate, (Zodiac) crawled on to the airbed and I asked her to tell me "Please let me know my nose isn't broken"... (as I could see my nose through one of my eyes) she replied "Sorry Jet, your nose is broken!" I was lucky and it healed pretty quick. Despite looking like Neaderthal for a week.

disco (Q) Hi Diane, Hope your well? Apart from trisha have u any more TV apperances or acting roles lined up? and can u purchase She -wolf of London? x
JET: Oh, no nothing in the pipe-line so to speak, although there is always some interest. She-Wolf is very difficult to get hold of. I don't have a copy of even!

DDN (Q) Hi Jet, did you enjoy your time in Australia filming the ashes?
JET: Oh, on looking back - it really was a fantastic time. Just the best with lovely warm and happy people who love fitness and sporting endeavour with panache and integrity.

2709girl (Q) How supportive were your close family and friends during Gladiators?
JET: Oh they were amazing and very excited for me!

tom (Q) What have you been up to since gladiators?
JET: I'm a psychotherapist, teacher and Trainer of NLP. It keeps me very busy.

Wolfie (Q) Hi Jet, firstly I'd just like to say I had a huge crush on you when you were on Gladiators. Was it difficult going back to normal life after being a big Saturday night TV star?
JET: I guess so... although I didn't have a 'normal life' whatever that is these days, before Glads! I have always been an innovator and very creative with my working life. I have a very expansive profile and do many things. Love and feel blessed with all I have had the good fortune to be exposed to and the learnings it has given.

dead_metal (Q) What is it like having your very own action figure?
JET: Omigod - sooo weird!!!

hollandd (Q) Hi Jet - do you miss being a Gladiator?
JET: Always a Gladiator... as we all are on some level no?

2709girl (Q) Where do you surf, and how did you get into surfing?
JET: I surf out on the west coast of England as I live here now. Oh I just thought it looked like fun... had some natural ability and could do it straight off. Although I am deprived of board miles at present... miserable and will be remedying very soon!

2709girl (Q) If you could turn back time, what would do with it and what would you do differently?
JET: To be honest - nothing. All is what it is meant to be, and we must take the learnings. I now have a much greater grasp of things and would love to be able to now deliver the patience and wisdom that no book gives you... only Dr TIME does. Just you wait!!!!

Ellen_and_Kenny (Q) what was your favourite event to participate in?
JET: The Wall and Hang Tough.

mobileman22 (Q) who would you most like to hit with the pugil stick???
JET: No one deserves that... tehe.

Blobinator (Q) Sorry if this has been asked before, but why did you not watch the later series' of Gladiators?
JET: I didn't have the heart to and also I had 'moved' on in many ways. Pre-occupying myself with other things - I had much to catch up on!

2709girl (Q) What diet do you follow because you always looked and still look absolutely amazing?
JET: I love my food, I eat regularly, keep it clean, keep it real, in other words cook from scratch and always have a good carb to protein balance.
