SERIES 2: BIGGER, BADDER, BETTER!
Six brand new Gladiators have been announced: Amazon, Doom, Siren, Goliath, Warrior and Cyclone (who was a reserve for Series 1). Three events have also been added to the events pool for Series 2 with Pursuit and Suspension Bridge both making a comeback with brand new event Rocketball.
NEW REFEREE READY! JOHN COYLE
Gladiators will return to Sky1 in January 2009 with new an all new refereeing team that will take charge in the Gladiators Arena. John Coyle, one of Britain’s most respected boxing referees and former World Referee of the year will take over the reigns from original referee John Anderson.
GLADIATORS: BATTLE OF THE FORCES
Feel the Forces in this military-themed special of the spandex spectacle. The Army, RAF and Navy have invaded the arena and will compete against one another to earn top-dog status.
NEW PRESENTER: CAROLINE FLACK
The Gladiators Zone can reveal that Caroline Flack is set to replace Kirsty Gallagher as co-host alongside Ian Wright on the new series of Gladiators.
