Barbaari, Ilkka Kinnunen

ILKKA KINNUNEN

Very fast up The Wall and agile in Powerball and Breakthrough & Conquer, Barbaari was an excellent tackler. He remained throughout the three series of Gladiaattorit. Nowadays, he is the Chairman of the Finnish Bodybuilding Union.

Haukka, Timo Kangasluoma

TIMO KANGASLUOMA

Entering the show in Series 2, Haukka was agile and strong, excelling in Duel, Breakthrough and Powerball. After Gladiaattorit finished, he became the trainer for the Gladiators in the Swedish series - Gladiatorerna.

Lalli, Hanssi Fell

LALLI

HANSSI 'HANS' FELL

A bodybuilder and devout Christian, the brawny Lalli flaunted his skills on team events such as Atlaspheres and Powerball. However, sustaining a knee injury on Powerball, and later tearing his bicep and chest muscles unfortunately saw him leave the show.

Mohikaani, Mika Ounaskari

MOHIKAANI

MIKA OUNASKARI

Immensely popular in Finland, Mohikaani remained throughout the series, excelling on events such as Duel, Powerball and Hang Tough. Mohikaani currently runs three gyms around Finland. He sported familiar black warpaintings underneath his eyes.

Retu, Pasi Paavisto

RETU

PASI PAAVISTO

Being the largest male Gladiator, Retu was naturally strong in events such as Duel and Gauntlet. Competing throughout the series, Retu's most memorable moment was when he knocked a Contender off in less than 1 second on Duel.

Teräs, Jussi Hokkanen

TERÄS

JUSSI HOKKANEN

Cousin of female Gladiator Laser and champion bodybuilder, Teräs competed in Series 2. Being the shortest Gladiator, his better events included Hang Tough and Danger Zone. Unfortunately, he was injured and didn't compete further. He is married to Series 1 Contender Eija 'Köökki' Veijalainen.

Terminaatori (Terminator), Mikko Tukonen

TERMINAATORI (TERMINATOR)

MIKKO TUKONEN

Terminaattori was one of the original Finnish Gladiators who remained with the series through to the end, before representing Finland in International Gladiators. He was the first Finnish Gladiator to be chosen and gave impeccable performances on Hang Tough and Gauntlet. He continues to keep fit and ran a marathon. He also has a 'Terminaattori-Gladiaattorit' tattoo on his left arm.

Torpedo, Veli-Matti ?

TORPEDO

VELI-MATTI ?

Torpedo joined Gladiaattorit midway through the first season as the lightest male Gladiator, shining in Hang Tough and Atlaspheres. Once ranking as Finland's best American footballer, his best event was Breakthrough & Conquer.

Turbo, Timo Honkanen

TURBO

TIMO HONKANEN

Turbo was a very diverse Gladiator, his strengths ranging from The Wall to Danger Zone to Hang Tough. An experienced bodybuilder, Turbo was small and agile, and definitely the showman of the series.

Viikinki, Tony Halme

VIIKINKI

TONY HALME

The bad guy of the show, Viikinki was a powerful wrestler, handling Duel and Breakthrough with strength and skill. Competing in the first two seasons, he later became the author of several books and a Member of Parliament.

Vääpeli, Kari Pötrönen

VÄÄPELI

KARI PÖTRÖNEN

One of the more powerful Gladiators on the team, Vääpeli was strong in Atlaspheres and Duel. Working for the Finnish army as Lieutenant Class 1, after competing in the first two seasons, he was unfortunately forced out by injury.
